If you're joining Infosys as a fresher, dress code is one of the many things you should be aware of before travelling to Mysore.


Monday & Tuesday Business Formals (Men)

As is evident from the above, boys/men don't enjoy much of an option here. And I'm sure girls will have something to say here. Anyways, being well clad and well shod isn't always comfortable, and especially when you're landing into the corporate world after spending four years in college. But that's the way it is. Accept it without an exception or you shall be fined and there is no circumvention in this regard. There generally are two to three security guards outside the GECs gazing at all the employees or rather students to check if anybody can be accused of inappropriate dress code.

So, make sure you do all the required shopping well in advance before coming to Mysore.
